Sunny looked like she really enjoyed doing this video too...naps AND a walk, throw in some treats and that's like golden retriever heaven right there:) I love visiting one on one or a small group of family/close friends, but big group of strangers literally can give me a panic attack. And then after about 3 hours, I can feel my batteries reaching the end of their charge and need to go home and be in a quiet, dark room for a bit. I love the extroverts in my life though! We need someone to organize social events and drag us out of the house every so often lol.

Penn deserves a shout out for coming up with the lyrics to this video. Talk about perfect! And yes, I can relate. I feel like I’m an actor playing the party role when I have to attend a function and when I’m home the mask comes right off.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!!! My dad was an extrovert, my mom an EXTREME introvert - I got both of their personalities. I can totally be the life of the party and thoroughly enjoy it - however, something will click and my extrovert juice will run out and I just need to be alone! A lot of people don't understand. One moment I am the life of the party and the next moment - poof I am gone..went home early because I was all done and desperately needed silence and to be alone.

You just described me too. I only do people for an hour or two a day. And then I need to recharge. Too many people and I pick up on their feelings, emotions, and energies. Being alone helps me recharge.

I totally understand how you feel Kim. I’m definitely an introvert. I retired at the end of March 2020. Staying home during the pandemic 😷 has not been a punishment for me.

This is so me. I'm a consultant and I work with people all day. After being "on" for hours, I have to have some alone time to recharge. That means cocooning in bed with some Kava tea and some YouTube videos. I like being around people and I'm very outgoing, but I can only do it for so long before I'm emotionally and mentally exhausted and need to get away and chill out and reset.

I watched this from what I call "my quiet room." It's literally a smallish walk-in closet at the end of the hall that I claimed, painted navy blue, and shoved a GIGANTIC fuzzy bean bag and my weighted blanket into. I come here when I've had enough people-ing and need a break and most of the time, don't even bother turning on the light. Just scroll through my phone and/or have a nap. It's GLORIOUS!
