How To Make Non-GMO Corn Tortillas (Don't Use Maseca)

In this video, we show you how to make Non-GMO corn tortillas if you can't find them in your local supermarkets.

HINT: Don't use the Maseca brand corn masa flour.

You see, corn is now one of the 12 Bad Foods to avoid due to it being one of the most genetically modified foods. That means it is heavily sprayed with a weed killer known as glyphosate which is the primary weed killing chemical in what you know as Round Up.

The problem is-it causes cancer. Now who wants to eat that? Unless the corn you buy is listed as organic or the package that contains corn ingredients say USDA Organic slash Non-GMO Project then chances are it contains the glyphosate-sprayed, genetically modified corn in it.

So for great health and healing, let's avoid the packaged stuff with the weed killer and let's learn to make our own organic Non-GMO corn tortillas! Enjoy!

I find that the Red Mill brand has a very different texture 😞and I haven't found the Masa Brosa in Montreal yet.
Next time I'll try to pass the Red Mill flour through my Vitamix to make it finer.

Made my first ones today with Bob's Red Mill non GMO masa. After that, a tortilla press is now on its way :) The flavor is quite good though. Gotta get one of those flat skillets and a warmer too.
