Can we just take a second to appreciate how great the actors did in this scene. The way Bo looks at Din like that it's like what he said meant everything in the galaxy to her. That combined with the amazing music in the background makes what might be my favorite scene this season.

I don't really care for Bo-Katan, but this episode she showed vulnerability and humbleness. Din has brought out the best in her. First we saw his loyalty to his foundling, and now we're seeing his loyalty to his leader. He will be the motivation for her to succeed.

This is now my favorite thing about this series. I NEVER accepted Bo-Katan when she turned ‘good’ at the end of Clone Wars and Rebels… I still just saw her as no better than Pre Vizsla before her despite some moments of nuance. After seeing her humbled by her attempt to lead Mandalore before, gaining wisdom and character, this scene is finally what got me to accept her as their leader. Satine would be proud.

i like that season 3 delved into cultural symbols and how people will believe in them and center all decisions around them even though at the end of the day its only special cuz you believe it is. The darksaber is only special cuz one clan made it special and its held such sway in Mandalorian culture
