Malcom, big fan. Follow all your videos. Took my shot at smoked bologna today and man it turned out great! Used one of my favorite rubs then basted with the applesauce/bbq sauce for the first time about an hour in. Then about every 25 minutes to about 2 1/2 hrs total cook. Bought 5 pound chub from Wally World and used half. I had defaulted to a propane guy but wanted a better result. My kettle had been sitting under a cover for over 2 years. I got it out, cleaned it completely, top to bottom, put it on indirect with charcoal and cherry chunk. I'll never go back to gas. I toasted some premium buns and dressed it like a BLT. Good stuff! I tried this yesterday and it was a hit at my daughter's birthday party! Today I'm going to try cubing it beforehand and making some "bologna burnt ends". Since the outside was everyone's favorite part of it!

I use an off-set smoker. When my neighbors asked me this evening what I was going to smoke, I got all sorts of reactions, from confused to actually laughing. 
When done....My smile is going to last longer, HA ha ha.

Malcolm, I finally got around to making this.  I think it turned out pretty good.  Maybe a little too much smoke.  I'm an amateur bbq'er and I'm trying to figure out my own spice rub.  So mine probably wasn't as good as yours because of that.  I did order some of your spice and sauce today.  My friends and I thank you for the videos.

Smoked bologna is the BOMB!! Gonna do 10# tomorrow. Found some GOOD no poultry pork and beef bologna (which is becoming like a friggin' impossibility) so I'm pleased about that.

All beef Bologna is great to smoke and grill.One easy way is to marinate thick slices in a Zip Lock bag with Allegro Hot and Spicy.Start on indirect heat for smoke then over heat for char marks.

Hello and thanks for shiwing that video.very smart of u.I day it only because my lil girl always steals it out the fridge and I dnt like to fry much but to see it grilled. Oh man.u took it to a whole nuthr level. I have to try this.now how about other cold cuts maybe hotdogs. Lol. God bless yours xox

Just tried it for the first time along side ribs during the first three hours of the cook. Wow, the bologna is real good!!! Need to stop snaking off it or I will have no room for the ribs!
