I've been gigging a Duchess V40 for a few years now, absolute perfection - it's my forever amp. Or at least it was until I got a Deputy (head) a few months ago. The Deputy is wonderful, and suits my classic rock band better than the V40 (which, I kept and use in my Americana styled band, and my alt indie/dream-pop band). The Deputy required some pedalboard tweaks however, as changing from the edge-of-breakup V40 clean(ish) platform, to the dirtier Deputy meant I needed to adjust my OD pedals... even not use them! Just a T-S into the Deputy sounds glorious, but I may need to run my Boost (or an EQ) in the loop now as everything in front worked for the V40, but it just adding more gain to the dirtier Deputy. Quality amps, very happy Victory customer 😎

The Deputy... I totally would, but it just needs those voices to be foot switchable. It's the same thing that bothered me about the Friedman Dirty Shirley.

I think that the wood choice in the speaker cabinet is going to have more impact on the sound than the wood choices in the guitar. I used to play through The Jack cabinet a bit, and it doesn't sound like any other V30 cabinet I've played through.
No matter what the head was it brought this buttery hifi sound.

I live in the US and I was going to buy one of your anniversary t-shirts for 19.99 BP. When I went to checkout, the shipping was the same as the t-shirt. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing a t-shirt, unfortunately. Crazy that shipping a shirt by the slowest means available is so expensive. Still love your channel!
