Girl! I have two dogs also, I work 40 hours a week. I am married, I cook, I clean, I go to work, I go to the gym every day at 5 AM. The señora life is hard. My dogs bring me so much joy! My respect goes out to all of those mothers that do this daily for a lifetime. After I also got married I appreciated my mother so much more, and realized all the stuff she did and continues to do with my younger siblings. Mothers deserve the best!

Girl I started crying when you gave us moms some light. My husband is a truck driver which means he’s barely home. I have twins y dos Perros tambien. I work Monday-Friday, I workout after work then I go get mis niños from school and when we get home I take care of the dogs do homework with them cook dinner and the list goes on. My body is exhausted everyday but like you said you have to be in love with the life In order to do it. I just wish the world sees and feels how our body feels after the end of the day and only getting so little hours to yourself

I would recommend getting a hamper that has 2 to 3 sections so that you are separating your colors and whites as you are placing your clothes in the hamper instead of spending time sorting the clothes when you want to put a load of clothes in the wash. Little things like that will help you save time.

The saying “you never know someone until you live with them” is so true! It’s not a bad thing, but you will learn about and connect with your partner on a different level when you’re both in one household. Also check out Groupon from cleaning services they tend to have discounted prices.

Been married for 5 years, 2 toddlers, 1 dog and work as a high school teacher. My husband is a firefighter and things could get very hectic when he’s working but I’m so blessed my husband and I are a team, and get things done together. When I get home from work, house and kids are taken care of. It’s not easy but I don’t know what my work life and mom life would look like if those areas weren’t covered by my husband when I get home from work and vise versa. Thank you for talking about this. This makes me respect my mom much more. I don’t give her enough thank yous for cleaning the house and feeding me my dad and my little brother. This made me realize I don’t show appreciation to my mom about how much she does at home.

I’m a stay at home mom and I just have to make a cleaning schedule around my sons naps. Mondays are hubbys and babys laundry, Thursdays are my laundry and whites. On the other days, I just tidy up around the house then deep clean on Sundays. I cook my husbands breakfast during my sons last nap so he can bring it to work in the morning. Once hubby gets home from work, I start dinner while he takes care of the baby. Once you have a baby, you’ll get your schedule down and it’ll be so easy to keep up with everything!

Yes 🙌 Girl!! The struggle is so real. Staying at home or working, a woman’s job is never done! Cook, clean, 4 kids, animals, yard work, pool upkeep, work, soccer games, foot ball games and practice, running errands, paying bills and it’s all set on repeat 😂 everyday! I’m surprised I have time to go to the bathroom and sleep lol! My husband helps a lot too and works and it still never ends. I would never change it for the world though but you will find your groove and it all just works.

As a single mom of 3 I get overwhelmed with everything. Minimalism is KEY. In all rooms
Of the house. And keeping kids toys in one room or 1 specific area of the house. Makes things so easy. And yes once you move in together you really get to know who each one is. The raw version of yourselves. I’ve done it twice and I’ve cooked and cleaned for them but I never felt appreciated so I stopped doing and was always the one leaving bc I know I deserve better.

Mom's out here keeping the household together. I currently live with my boyfriend and when I first moved in I was still a full-time college student. I am so happy he has also made an effort to keep the house clean or cook when I was overwhelmed with work and assignments.
