Marantz CD5001 CD Player with CD Text Display

This video is to show the Marantz CD Text player which shows the Artist, Song Title, Or Album Name on a CD if it's encoded with it. Every music CD that I tried which was purchased over the years does not show the song name or any other information. I'm sure there are many out there and I haven't tried every single CD I have to see because I have too many. You can create your own CDs and add text to them on your computer with the right CD creating software. I personally use Nero StartSmart 10. I've been using this program for many years, even though it's old and they no longer support. If you know of any other CD player brands that support CD Text please post it in the comments.

a feature that all companies missed. It is incredible that practically no device had that function or that the disks had the information in text.

I own a five disc CC4001, which looks like like it may be around from the generation of your model - the metal faceplates are very similar.

God, how I miss graphic EQs - I'd kill for another one, but the modern Onkyo stereo receiver I'm using doesn't have a Tape 2 loop to connect one.

Such a pity that the 5001 is so bass light. Onkyo C 7030 has the more refined sound with my Oberon 3 bookshelves. Although the Marantz has the much better headphone amp inside. It lets my AKG 701 headphones sound terrific That's the reason I really like both of them.
