That controller failed me after 1 year, so I went back to OEM fan clutch lol, I might go back with flex alite and buy another controller, they are good fans, 160F thermostat and I set it to the coldest, and driving it was 168-172F, and idle 176-180 in hot weather, now that I went back to OEM, at idle it San antonio wheater it goes up to 192F, and I don't like that and my IAT shoot up to 160F, Flex alite does help out

I set mine to come on at 200, oem ford truck fans come on at 210 to 215.

Being in San Antonio, is the AC colder with those fans?
5500cfm is a lot of air being drawn through the AC condensor and radiator!

if you connect terminal 10 and 11 to the chassis to ground it, would the fan kick in without the use of the temperature sensor on the radiator?

Do your fans kick on when the truck is off at all?

Curious question, you don’t think 180 is to hot??? I think the fans turning on around 130 would be perfect??
