This is so touching and so close to home. My husband died of Leukemia when we were both 22. This was 44 years ago, he gave his body to science and was getting bone marrow extracted for 5 years for experimenting. He always said he was doing this for the children he met at St. Jude Hospital. I never remarried because he was the love of my life and I will soon be close to him again. This child will have a long-lasting life and I send my respect to this wonderful man for the donation.

Let me say that the process for extracting bone marrow is EXTREMELY PAINFUL!!!! You have to be awake for the procedure, so for him to do that for her is
