I was always skeptical of the tarnishing that's on the Tudor Black Bay 58 925 Silver until I bought the watch for myself and wore it for over a year doing adventurous activities!

It’s gotta be an artificial tarnish like someone took vinegar or another corrosive solution to speed up the tarnish process.

Tarnishing also depends on factors like skin acidity pretty heavily. Luckily, I have never had any issues with .925 tarnishing on me.

Base on my experience working with jewellery, if purchase any silver material, you have to wear it very very often. If you keep it in a box for a long time, tarnish will easily appear. Solution for tarnish, you can use cape cloth n rinse it with water, but you have to deal tarnishes on the tight area for example under the bezel n crown

Silver holds a better finish if you use it. Sea water does wonders with silver. If you let silver products unworn in the box it will accelerate the corrosion of silver, you have to wear it often

I have a silver ring sitting in a tray of US coins for probably a year now (haven't worn it during that time) and it has gotten a ton of patina just from the contact of the silver with the coins (pennies dimes, nickles, quarters), it Doesn't look grimey like this Watch though.

The old boiled egg yolk & aluminum foil instant patina trick. It really works on .925.

Can you do a video with all the different straps ?

Every watch is a beater watch (everyday watch) with exception, dress watches or timepieces with complication like a navitimer or daytona.

Where did you get the rubber strap?
Just bought the same watch yesterday :)

I seriously would think silver is too soft a metal for a watch. The gray /gray though is on point but also silver will oxidize, eventually.

Also those who are prone to skin allergies would be warey to stay away from .925

I ruined my Silver Bay when I tried to remove the tarnish with cloth, it got super scratched

My experience with silver is if you let it sit it tarnishes quicker.

I love how there's a watch shop here in Rome asking full retail for one of these that's tarnished, exposed to direct sunlight 6 hours a day and covered in scratches on the case. Ridiculous.

Silver does tarnish like that but it should only do that if it sits for a long long time

You know that silver won't tarnish from being worn. The oils in your skin dramtically slow the process. If you wash it and left it on a dresser for 5-6 months it would look pretty rough.
