Hi, I received my pura max on June 17 and all has been working great. I kept one regular litter box available while they got use to the pura max. I let the Regular box get filled up before scooping while keeping the pm litter fresh with litter deodorizer. After a week and a half I was able to remove the extra litter box. I really like being able to see which cat has used it by their individual weight with the app notifications. I have 5 cats by the way, ranging from 1 year to 15 years old. I also built a little platform the same size as the included mat so the older cats can climb in. So far so good. I’ll update after my first full disassembly and cleaning

Can you make an update in app for the Pura Max, a fiture to empty the litter. I've bought this but when i want to clean the globe with water, i've to empty the litter manual by scoop it. I thought the function to empty the litter also similar to Pura X 🤦🏻‍♀️

My Pura Max problem is urine found deposited at the top of the base unit.
One more problem is while on cleaning cycle, it constantly stop for reason cat is using the toilet despite no cat inside it.

It would be great if there was an additional screen that could filter the tofu dust out as it tends to migrate to the back corner. This causes a type of glue to be created and results in liquid paste that adheres to the bottom pan. Another option would be for small holes in the “litter reservoir” that would let the dust drop down the chute as well.

Got one. Love it. However there doesn't seem to be any sensors at the back. My cat likes to put its head there when it turns and almost got stuck. I had to manually stop the machine. There are also times when it cannot detect the cat from the front.
But other than that, love it. Quiet enough such that the cat is not afraid of it. Just too curious to see it run.

Hi. We have been using this self cleaning litter for over a year now. But it seems like, after a year. When it rotates, it started to develop a sound. It sounds like a group of crickets but it doesn't affect any of the function. The sound came out when the drum rotates to clean itself. May I know what I can do to stop the sound?

The gaps look quite large. It seems smaller clumps wouldn't get caught. Does this work with any clumping litter or do you have to use special litter? The box itself is already expensive enough that I would not want to also have to buy exclusive specialty litter.
