Financial Times Live: Looking Ahead to COP27

With the presidency of #COP27, Egypt’s position will be impartial. Moving from commitments towards action and implementation is paramount and requires designing an international financing framework anchored to the collective efforts of all stakeholders to crowd in private sector commitments.

In yesterday’s @financialtimeslive “Looking Ahead to #COP27”, I shared the story of Egypt’s energy transition that was one of the results of our structural reforms, along with finance mobilization through multilateral and bilateral cooperation; all reflected in various adaptation and mitigation projects in water waste management, agriculture, renewable energy (solar and wind), and sustainable transportation.
