I first watched this short at sometime at the beginning of 2023. I've been drinking for 25 years and was at a point where I knew I needed to quit but felt like I couldn't do it. I got the audio book and started listening to it in March. I took my last drink on March 23rd. It is October now. I thought about this video today and found it because I wanted to leave this comment and say thank you for uploading it. Allen Carr's easy way was the message I needed to hear.

The book is reverse psychology used to perfection. He got me so mad at him that I just stopped smoking, It's hilarious. He tells you to go smoke and you're like "f*** you" and it actually feels so cathartic.

My husband, a smoker of 50 years quit smoking after reading this book. Still not smoking after 1 year. First time EVER. It truly worked.

This was the interview that got me to get the book to quit smoking. I did it because I was skeptical, and it absolutely worked.

I tried to quit smoking unsuccessfully for a very long time, I read his book over a weekend and never smoked again, it’s now been 14 years

Does he have a book called "how to stop letting the media control your life"? I think we need that one the most

My dad was a five pack a day smoker, worked at the steel mill, and drank boilermakers (beer and whiskey) after work every day. In 1975 he was given three months to live. He quit smoking and drinking at that moment and lived until 2014.

I’ve actually started recommend this book to my patients (I’m in a surgical field where many of the cancers I treat are directly causing by smoking) and I swear I’ve now had a couple come back who’ve stopped smoking after reading it. Best feeling ever! Perhaps because treating the stuff I do is no longer novel…I’m not sure. But it felt beyond exhilarating and amazing to help a patient through a book recommendation to stop smoking after 30+ years. Super dope. Highly recommend. I might actually buy a bunch of them and start handing them out so patients have no excuse.

It’s genuinely really good. He goes into why we are brainwashed into thinking we are addicted to something and lie to ourselves about how it makes us feel better. It’s truly brilliant and got me to stop after 30 day habit for 15 yrs. Brilliant. Smoking one, no idea about the drinking one though.

It’s been 26 years since my last drink. I respect anyone who tries to quit. It’s not an easy thing to do. I’m going to order that book. Be well to all.

Allan Carr's book gets rid of mental obsession before you quit smoking. You also don't experience withdrawal pains, you don't overeat and you don't get angry.

Allen Carr was a real hero of mine. I even dedicated a book I had published to him. Still grateful I read that book in 2007. 🙏

That book helped me stop smoking after 14 years. I quit halfway through the book but kept reading it to the end.

The book worked for me too to quit vaping. 3 months now, no problems. In my first week when I had cravings I'd refer to the book and I actually had no issues. Thanks Allen Carr
