I was hoping it would ride better..softer over bumps vs factory like my Carli 3" level lift on our SD. We also have a 24 GMC HD in both gas and diesel.

Good stuff Devin! The cutting on the front wouldn't be a thing I would be to fond of doing if looking for or mounting a lift kit.
But hey if there's no other way then yeah what can you do then besides just cut it right. 😆 It's still super solid, i'm pretty sure.

Imagine buying a $85, 000 truck and having to cut into it to install a lift kit. kit choices out there

The rear is usually higher so the truck looks levelled when you have load in the back. The cutting probably compromised the strength of the chassis a little. Next you re gona cut the bumper for bigger wheels and make the truck look weird lol

Rancho's 🤮Don't need triple bypass or anything too fancy but that'd be something high on my list, atleast Fox id have thought would have come with something like this, amazed a 70k truck comes with such low specc shock! Otherwise looks good though I agree with someone below about cutting ya stops to fit a kit, surely better kits than that out there like Carli though probably overkill and much higher cost, but IME this type of stuff is an investment, do hack jobs and its depreciates your truck! I hope ya go with a real wheelset this time not those little gangster poky things too, anyways jmo, massive truck though, love black but da m its beyotch to keep clean, def PPF. good work. 🤘

The stock height looks absolutely perfect, don't know why you always lift them!! It's not like you're 7 feet tall.

Devin just a heads up. These 23 and 24 trucks have weak transmissions. Gm is going through a national valve body shortage right now. I got a 23 with 30k miles and the transmission already grenaded
