Nope since iOS 17 the RAM clean function is not working anymore…. Before was just to hold the home button for approx 2-3 seconds….sad to see that good stuff get eliminated

i have tried this method on ios 16 and then on ios 17 and ipados 17 it seems they have removed the assistive touch method on iOS17 😢

In my ios 17.5 when i press power button and then after i hold home button then it took forever to clean ram, before it was so quick like 2-3 seconds and Kaaboom and bow last forever 🙈

I have an iPhone 13 running on iOS -7.2. I do a lot of switching between apps. I’ve been finding recently that whenever I return to an app, even when I’ve only been away from it for a few seconds, it always restarts (annoying). I think the problem is not specific to this version of iOS (it happened on the last version) nor is it specific to one app (it happens with Chrome, games, etc.). Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?

Because it wasn’t done right. After you enable the floating home button — go to settings and general and shut down (but don’t shut down) —touch the floating button and hold the home button and it will prompt you to enter your code and then it will be cleared. His didn’t even make you code it. He did it wrong. Keep holding the home button down until your code pad comes up and then you can enter your code and it’s cleared. It may take a few seconds. Just don’t stop holding the home down. When code screen pops up it’s cleared.
