I think I have a very similar problem. Yesterday I was not able to eject the CD form my HU-603 in my v70 s. The cd came out a bit but I was unable to grab it and pull it out. After a while the cd player load the cd and sent me an “CD error” message. When I tried again the situation was the same. I can only remove the cd with pliers. When I load the cd, it is started to play but to eject it came out only a bit (or in some cases nothing happens). I am not sure but as I saw your video I guess that something pop out or over in the mechanism of eject part of the CD player, am I right? I cannot see clearly what did you done to pop it back in the right place. Can you write me it in a few sentences?
Is it necessary to power the cd player for the repair? If yes, which pins need to feed it?
