Wrestler in the green singlet is @nickbeagle14 on 1nsta. Freshman year at 152.

That was a very beautiful transition from a double to a single leg takedown very nice.

that was legal, you did slam him in a way that hurt but you kept full contact with him the whole time making it legal.

I seen this type of slam go either way. It’s a judgment call depending on the ref but I would say by definition it is “illegal” but I would let them wrestle and not call it🤷🏻‍♂️

Pov: your kid gets body slammed and now your saying its illegal

100 percent NOT some slams are way too much. especially when they get dangerous with the neck and head area...but a wrestling mat is literally more comfortable than some pillows ive slept on. this was a pretty fine lift in my opinion.

I’d say it was just a gritty double leg. Props for not giving up on the shot

It was a transition from a SLT to a DLT. Had he let go at any time, it would've been illegal. He held on until the slam was on the ground. 100 legal.

the title made it seem like i was boutta see him get hit with a spine buster

The slam was illegal cuz he hit the ground first so all your weight would get put onto him. That happened to me like 3 days ago.

Um... that's turning the corner...

Okay, the reason why its illegal isnt because he didnt put a knee on the ground, because that kind of thing is really hard to catch in real time. Its more accurate to say: in order for a throw to be legal, you must follow through to the ground with them held. But what he did wasnt really a throw (let alone a legal one) because it wasnt really a swinging motion, and more of a dropping/falling motion. He did “throw” his opponent the way he was supposed to, aka he went down with him, but he more did it in a way where he kinda just put his feet back and fell over, using the other kid to break his fall, when both wrestlers are supposed to roll and break each others fall somewhat. THIS was more like a WWE slam than a wrestling throw

I mean honestly even though it’s technically illegal cause you slammed the kid it was really hard to get there safely plus it was a really good transition

did the navy singlet not know how to transition after sprawling?

That should be legal. He came down with the guy.

I'll tell you why it is illegal. There was a lift, pause, turn, and dump. Even if done gently a lift with a pause at the top is not legal. In fact, at the pause that ref should already be blowing the whistle. The pause and turn makes it illegal. If it is one smooth motion, it doesn't matter how hard the kid hits the floor, it is legal. But in this case it was a slam. Also - all of the wrestling videos are the same - 95% of the video is useless based on the title and then the last 1-2 secs show what you are waiting for and then cuts prematurely...

I wouldn't really call that illegal. It's borderline just because he landed pretty hard. Would be interesting to see what the ref actually called, but the video cuts out before we can find out...

Definitely illegal. Green brought bottom guy down in a way where bottom man had no way to protect himself. Just that alone is enough to call it an illegal move. Not to mention the force and landing on him. By the rule book it is considered an illegal move.

I’d worry about drilling a knee slide before I’d worry about rulings like that

Seen plenty of this, usually they don't get called unless the crowd reacts
