'Saudades do Botequim' - José Cid

The "Botequim" ( in Bairro da Graça, one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the heart of Lisbon) was the tavern where in the late 60's, beginning of the 70's, where those who were unhappy use to meet and conspire against the political regime. A regime which were suffocating all of us!
I use to go there with my longing and great friend Natália Correia (one of her recitation is at the end of these song), one of the most avant-garde and cultured among the most cultured of her generation.! Great poet and intellectual! This video clip "Saudades do Botequim" is dedicated to her,! This song is the track two of my latest album dos “ Clube dos corações solitários do Capitão Cid ( Club of the lonely Hearts of the Captain Cid) which will be released very soon in Vinyl and CD.
