I can’t get over the tiniest detail of Ina holding her pose because she thought Calli was taking a picture at 2:16 !! That aside, this MV was really amazing! I couldn’t stop smiling, great job to everyone who worked on it!

End Of A Life, Scuffed Up Age, and now Lose-Lose Days give me a sense that Calli chose the Reaper aesthetic because she's struggled profoundly with her creative pursuits, perhaps told that her dreams were better left as fantasies. Through her lyrics you can feel the lamentation and uncertainty in wondering if this path would ever lead somewhere or if she was running in circles. Becoming Death-sama's assistant is an apt metaphor for this dichotomy; Close enough to the end that it becomes normalized into your soulless corporate day job, yet catching fleeting glimpses of albums, music videos and sold out concerts. Still the uncertainty remained, overshadowing any feeling of success with a lingering sense of doubt. This track seems particularly personal and likely difficult to share without feeling vulnerable. The homage to her development as part of Myth and the bonds they built through the years just goes to show how something as simple as a trusted friend rooting you on can give you the motivation to keep your dreams alive. Congratulations Mori Calliope, you've worked hard to get this far and I think I can speak for all of us when we say we're proud of how far you've come! Word up to rollin' the dice in those demon days. ;]
