Video #12 Gravely Tractor Demonstration Series 1966 LI MA115 Deluxe Snowblower

We shot this video the day after we posted video #11. We had already demonstrated the same setup in the 11th video as we did in our 9th.

This is a completely new tractor that I built in the summer of 2014 and restored the MA115 Deluxe snowblower to go with it. The old square chute snowblower was the predecessor to this one and the MA210 came after it. It has a crank handle that attaches to the handlebar just like the MA210.

Yep ... correct they where quite a sight in the early sixties .... I ran my grandfathers .... and a Gravely L88 w/ a 2-stage thrower will go through almost anything ...

The big Oshkosh snowblowers at the airport near me especially the military ones on the Air Guard side are similar...open auger to a strong impeller. Very neat!

It seems to pull its own weight for its size. One most important thing I've noticed is it didn't spin its wheels like all those tin cans sold today. It pushes until it stall. Quite the work horse.

I picked up the same blower along with a blade and 1974 swift attic machine. I haven't tried the blower out yet. I like the aim-able chute. Yours seems to do quite well. Nice videos.

Got a 1941 i have no clue ware to start paint. I know the engine needs work but seeing this i know it will be worth fixing up

If you had one of these in 1960 you would of been top dog      Seems to really get to work in the deep snow  Yea its slow but alot faster than shoveling

I have a couple of L-8s and two of the MA 115 blowers (one is missing its crank mechanism).

They are a real beast !

I'm going to get "thumped" for this but, "back in the day" we called this type a snow thrower (single stage), instead of snowblower (2 or now 3 stage). Be gentle.

thats the worst snowblower gravely made. regular dogeater or ma210 is much better.
