We have a WoodMaxx 8800, build in New York State. On our LX2610, it could easily bog down the tractor. We traded that tractor for an LX3520. No slowing down the tractor anymore. Also have a rear 60” snowblower, and the difference using that attachment with the extra horsepower is substantial in heavy snow.

Dang, the little guy spews the phone number out faster than you do. Can any one capture that phone number? Fantastic to see a father and son working together.

A towing point on the back of a chipper is really useful as you can then discharge straight into a small trailer attached behind it.

I have a Wallenstein that has a shredder input on top as well as the chipper like yours. It calls for 26 hp so I bought an L3400HST to get the 26 hp at the PTO. Be carefull when tossing those logs in because sometimes a chunk of wood will pop all the way back out of the chute. I leave the chipper-shredder attached for ballast and "parking brake" function. I have been able to run the PTO without being in the seat -- not interested in finding out why LOL.

With tractors and ATVs and dirt bikes around the house, that kid isn't going to play in a tree house!

Hey Neal, I am really curiuos about suitcase weights for compact tractors. There is a lot of options from places like Heavy Hitch, Goodworks Tractors, and Allstates Ag. The 41lb and 70lb weights are what I am most interested in. However, what does Kubota and New Holland offer for this if anything? Besides wheel weights, weight boxes, and fluid in the tires, I am looking to know more about manufacturer offered weights for compact tractors to increase safety. I already have fluid in the tires, and a full set of wheel weights. My thought now is suitcase weights sound really convenient for switch weights between tractors depending on what job I am doing. I have 5 tractors, and buying 5 sets of weights is very cost prohibitive. So moving suitcase weights seems like a better choice. Thank you.

Also please tell people that when clearing a stuck piece there is a lot of kinetic energy wound up in that equipment. Use a stick or something to clear and spin that flywheel. Same as how a lot of people who get something jammed in there snowblower end up loosing fingers with the blower not even running

I have a chipper on my L3301. How do you run the PTO without being in the seat? I've used a stick or rock to flip the seat safety switch so it runs. Just curious if there's a better way.

If you lower the 3 point and put the chipper on the ground / on it's skids (more stable during operation)
does it increase the angle of the prop shaft too much to operate?

I don't see that complete unit on your website Neil

Neil, where's the face shield -googles for your eyes ? those things can be very dangerous !

So Neil, you cut out the video portion when, while zooming around the corner, the trailer tips and freshly chips the side of the path, Huh? 🙂 Would love to have a PTO shredder for my BX but the cost is, sometimes double a drag a long. 😞

Your son is a "chip off the old block"😅

Is that really cost efficient compared to a basic gas powered chipper that doesn't put hours on your tractor?
