Interesting to learn later on that they are still very much married and now have a little daughter. Just goes to show that some times people and their circumstances are more complicated than we think. Despite her despondency in Judge Lyn’s court, she didn’t leave Nick after all. I can see in this episode that he loves her (proud boy or not, lol), and I feel on some level, she does love him too. She just can’t stand his bad habits (e.g. the nicotine, the unhealthy diet) to the point where she felt she had to get away from time to time.

Part of the reason we have a 50% divorce rate in this country is because people have a fantasy about settling down and they rush in too quickly. I say, Don't settle down! Sow your wild oats.
