Your content brought on the tears this evening as though you reached into my soul with your words and touched the core. No coincidence and as though the better part of my mind is mirrored back to me. Here is a quote that arose immediately after watching you by Khalil Gibran : “ out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” I feel grateful then to have come thru such toxicity 🙏

I’m not dating, not because of my last breakup - I’m quite happy about it - but because the apps just don’t work. I’ve been on 3 apps (paid options) for a year now and had just 2 text conversations (not dates, in-app chats) all of which fizzled to nothing. The apps are upside down for people my age, nobody is going to look at my photo and want to date me, I need to get to know people first and find attraction that way. I’m trying to get to as many meet-ups as I can, but I’m not good socially so I don’t really know how I can make that work either tbh, I suppose I’m just hoping something might happen. This is H.A.R.D., and way beyond my skill-set it seems.
