Do you remember when food companies didn't have to list what was inside the ingredients they were using by law and so the ingredient list was much shorter?

We just notified that that same verbiage is on many of the foods we get from our Publix supermarket. Even things we thought the bakery made like the cupcakes

I am so sad to hear the Milanos have changed! Milanos is the inspiration behind my username. They tasted to good. I thought they were heavenly. They used to contain butter. Now they are made with cheap vegetable oils like most other commercial cookies. I can live with bioengineered but not with vegetable oils.

So true! I got a package from target and they tasted so different I assumed they were old, just to finally pay attention to the ingredients. Never paid attention before but now I know the taste is different because the ingredients are different

I agree the original recipe is healthier or significantly more natural but I have no problem with gmos

So sad the company is doing this. The bread I loved now includes bioengineered food ingredients. Pepperidge Farms, you lost me as a customer.
