MY GOOD SIR! This completely solved my Laptop going from 100+ to 2-3 for minutes, then to 9-10, then back to 100+. A champion you are and a subscriber you have gained!

Holy wow! I've been spending a lot of hours trying to fix as well and this guide finally did it! I used to get really bad stuttering when entering new areas, going back to busy towns, opening skill/inventory tab. Now its just flawless I run rtx3080 and ryzen 5800x3d. Amazing job!

Incredibly working for me, share this massively guys ! Thanks a lot dude, this proves that this is the graphic part and not the servers (what I thought it was at first) ! I'm running on a 1060 TI, pretty smooth overall, some drops but like ~10 to 15 fps now, still in HT and in towns mostly, the rest is almost perfect.

Turning off Browser Hardware Acceleration in BattleNet solved my problems

Do you use Game Mode on windows? I know it was pretty bad a long time ago but I have heard its better now I just dont know if it is or when to use it if not always.

I had to turn off the Hardware Accelerated GPU scheduling in the PC settings to fix my stuttering. It's mainly for older and weaker riggs and you don't need it on if you have a decent system. It's on for a newer pc.

Ive done zero to diablo other than lock the FPS at 120fps/10fps background. I spent zero hours on it and have not had any lag issues. Maybe its my cpu or card. 5600X3D + 4070FE + 32GB Pc 3200 + windows 10 LTS. Smooth as glass. BTW I'm using the high rez texture pack all on ultra. For 8gb I would use the standard textures. Vsync OFF, very rarely do I use vsync on any game. 1080P on 240hz Alienware monitor.

im amazed a 3080 is not running this game at max over 100 fps, I have a 1080gtx and I have same texture and shadow settings the game ran fine around 60 fps until recent patch, now it stutters a lot and is unplayable when it starts to happen but before it was great playing it until about lvl54 very smooth experience, hopefully it all gets sorted out.

I tweaked some settings, and it's worked for me, but I didn't see g-sync in the settings menu, so I couldn't change that, also in game there was no nvidia settings either. Regardless, the results are great so far.

Eυχαριστώ!!! This worked like a charm for me! Before I was stuttering once loading the game up and first entering towns or the overworld, and now it plays smooth!

Heard Nvidia Reflex is not to use as well. Currently anyway.
