Decaying China-Russia relations is the best thing Americans can hope for out of this. But I wouldn't be surprised to later find out their relations are secretly improving behind close doors.

"Like what we did in Iraq, you break it you buy it" best characterization of that mess I have heard lol

Putin: "Sup Xi?"
Xi Jinping: "I just think we should start seeing other people."

This was always going to be a win/win scenario for China.

It's not just the level of resistance. There has to be a will to fight among the Russians invading and to fight hard... from the generals down to the foot soldiers. A lot of Russians see Ukraine as family, a lot of them have family in Ukraine. I think Putin expected Zelensky to abandon ship which would have collapsed morale and any fighting spirit. The fact that he is willing to die...it speaks...loudly to the people of Ukraine, and if your a Russian soldier, knowing that rifle fire and Molotov cocktails await...around every corner of every street....not expected for a liberating army.

It's been three days and somehow Saagar is sure that militarily things aren't working out for the Russians. Right.

Russia doesn’t invade Ukraine without getting certain assurances from China and to a lesser extent India.

I like when Saager says that he has never seen something like this in his lifetime… He’s only like 28 years old…

China-Russia relationship will always be complex.

It's easy to be friends when you are far. It's hard when you are close geographically.

I hope this spurs Krystal and Sagaar to learn more foreign affairs topics.

Funny how much Krystal and Saagar underestimate China in this.

You have to understand Stockholm Sweden 1972 was the first UN meeting of 'Sustainable Development' we are currently witnessing right now ..

Frays? Wouldn't put such a optimistic word.
Deterred and having to diplomatically back-paddle? Yes.
Actually moving away from Russia? Hard to say. They just found a cheap energy source. They just need to find smarter ways to do it. But of course, it also depends on what the US does when they do.

I will always respect you guys but it is obvious your strong area of expertise is in American politics and not in Geopolitics. You would do well for yourselves to stick with what you are good at or spend more time gathering information on geopolitics before you make yourselves look uninformed.
