FILM DESCRIPTION:
The second chapter in the "Bourne Trilogy," based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling espionage novels, reaches the screen in this sequel to the 2002 thriller The Bourne Identity. Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) has abandoned his life as a CIA assassin and has been traveling beneath the agency's radar, eventually reconnecting with Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente), the woman he loves. But Bourne is haunted by vivid dreams and troubling memories of his days as a killer, and he's not certain how much really happened and how much is a product of his imagination. When Bourne is led out of hiding by circumstances beyond his control, he must reconcile his past and present as he struggles to keep Marie out of harm's way and foil an international incident with dangerous consequences. The Bourne Supremacy also features Joan Allen as one of Bourne's superiors, while Julia Stiles and Brian Cox reprise their roles as intelligence agents from the first film.

The line, the delivery, her turn to look into the concrete jungle and the strings of ”Extreme Ways” makes this the BEST ending to a movie I’ve seen and honestly the BEST scene in the trilogy

I pranked my friend few years ago using this scene xD He was waiting for me in the coffee shop while I was hiding behind the bar and talking to him on the phone.The waitress agreed to play extreme ways on the main speakers the moment I said "get some rest Nikola, you look tired"' xD For a moment there he was actually shocked but when I appeared we had one the greatest laughs in our lives. Thanks Marija(waitress), you made my day.

I love the implication when he does that last like: "Get some rest Pam. You look tired".

Its an acknowledgement of what she did for him, and a reminder he can find her or any of them, at any time, and they will be vulnerable, if he chooses it.

This was a brilliant ending. Little did we know, this is actually the beginning of a really awesome climax in the third movie. We had to wait 2 years of course to see it. But when we did, it was rewarding.

I remember when Damon was cast as Bourne for the first movie back in 2000 the idea seemed ludicrous. He seemed too young, too preppy, too weedy. Yet his Bourne (especially in Supremacy and Ultimatum) is a total badass...wiry, smart, resourceful and lethal.

I remember getting an extra chill when “Extreme Ways” kicked in — at the time I had no idea they’d be using that song again. It’s tradition now, but that was when it became *his* theme. The unexpected reprise of it matched with Matt’s excellent deadpan delivery make this one of the finest endings IMO.
