The Canopy Treehouse is a luxury cabin building that can accommodate up to 4 guests with two bedrooms and one bathroom. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire cabin building to yourself. You'll enjoy this tiny house in the trees. The tiny house is only 350 square feet but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can cook dinner in the full-sized kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and coffeemaker. The treehouse has dinnerware, silverware, glasses, cookware, and all the essential kitchen accessories you'll need. Both the loft and the attached sleeping pod in the treehouse are furnished with queen-sized beds. You'll enjoy the deck with a grill and a view of the trout pond and your private hot tub. This high-end sanctuary will take you away from the craziness, you can drive to your own private treehouse retreat with seclusion, with two private bedrooms, high-speed internet, and a full-sized kitchen and bath.

When you wake up in the treehouse, the first thing you'll feel is peace. There is no traffic, sirens, or planes flying overhead. All you will hear is the birds singing, the cry of a loon, along with the chirping of chickadees. Downstairs in the kitchen, you'll have the coffee brewing, your tablet charging on the windowsill, you can check your emails or simply relax and look out at the view. On the deck, you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee, and later on, you can paddle the kayak across Littlefield Pond, or take a fishing pole down to your private dock to catch a brook trout for breakfast. Later on, you can soak in the hot tub and listen to the forest sounds. In the afternoon, you can sit by the woodstove while reading that book you’ve always meant to read, play a board game at the table, or enjoy a conversation.

The Canopy Treehouse was inspired by three families, the Avallone's from Colorado, the Parekhs from California, and the Valcourts from nearby Portland to create Littlefield Retreat. The Canopy Treehouse is more than a vacation experience, the Littlefield retreat is an exploration of what sustainable travel, and living, in general, might look like. It offers its vacation guests an opportunity to live for a few days with a smaller footprint but without sacrificing any beauty or comfort.

The Canopy Treehouse is the ultimate in eco-luxury. You can see the exquisite workmanship and attention to detail from the moment you climb the spiral stairs and open the door to your tiny house retreat amidst the trees. The eco-friendly tiny house elements are less visible but just as essential to the Littlefield vision with several recycled and reclaimed building materials that were used in the construction of the treehouse. The treehouse is also super-insulated, with ultra-efficient heating and hot water. At present, the energy that powers this tiny house treehouse is wind sourced, with plans for summer 2020 to install a 150-panel solar array on the property, which makes the Littlefield retreat’s five boutique tiny houses entirely carbon neutral.
