As Skoda evaluates the Envaq for launch in India we’ve driven its faster sibling, the Envaq Coupe iV RS. Sporting the higher 82kWh battery and twin motors giving it all-wheel-drive it accelerates to 100kmph in 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 180kmph. It also gets the more attractive coupe roofline and unique RS trim elements. Editor Sirish Chandran spent a day driving it in the Czech Republic and was impressed by the turn of speed. But he also missed the emotions and thrills of the previous ICE RS cars.

Skoda India is evaluating whether to bring the electric RS to India, let us know what you think

Such a beautiful color.

The DRLs look similar to the ones we have in Volvo cars. The rear seats look good with that extra thigh support. Overall a fabulous proposition for the Indian market.

Yes, finally Skoda's first electric car in India. I have driven in Europe, its another level. The price I am expecting for normal Enyaq would be 50 lakhs.

Wish VW/Skoda group was considering storing hybrid options for Indian customers ....

Expensive reality is that the extreme climatic conditions of the terrain will start damaging the sensor's on expiry of company warrenty.

Not a big fan of new logos the way some car manufacturers are adopting; previous Skoda logo had statement.
Enyaq is a desirable product, however for our market the EV needs to shed it’s delicate look and look tougher as it’s ICE stablemates.

Maybe not so soon. We petrol heads still need to enjoy the ICEs while they last. 🥲

Enyaq Coupe looks better than the ID5 GTX
ID4 looks better than the Enyaq
But when they reach India, expect a price of at least 60Lakhs!

I that front end. EVs in India are really making ugly front ends. Idk why they make the grill area Completely closed and opaque. It looks very bad. The ZS EV, the XUV400 and the likes. This Skoda's front end is absolutely Kick-ass!

It's electric, also the body design is too ugly and bulky. Sorry I choose the 2006 vRS any day.
