I have the same laptop and I’ve watched many videos on how to improve my performance of GTA 4 and not a single one mentioned this tweak to activate all cores. I did this, and the performance increase is huge. I have Fusion Fix and DXVK installed, but still was only able to run the game on a combination of low and medium at 900p. I’m now almost completely maxing out every setting at 1080p and am getting a very stable 40fps. This tweak is absolutely essential for GTA 4, due to its very poor pc optimization. I have tested other games too and have also noticed a substantial performance increase. Batman: Arkham Knight runs beautifully everything maxed out, shadows on medium at 1080p. I am going to test out Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Dead Rising 3 tonight, as these are both notorious for their absolutely terrible pc optimization. Thank you so much for making this video, I feel like my laptop can now actually play games pretty well, before I thought it was a piece of junk.
