Hey Booktube, we're almost out of time to read all the books I want to read and my TBR is still full so time for a "End of the Year" Book Tag!

____ Questions _____
1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
3. Is there a new release you're still waiting for?
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite
book of the year?
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?

How are you doing with your challenges this year?

"it's more like cowboy... western... pew-pew" is the most compelling description of a brandon sanderson (or ANY) book i have ever heard.
now I have an inexplicable urge to read the pew-pew book

I just started reading a book that I think you absolutely need to get. It's called The Thirteen Black Cats of Edith Penn by Sean McDonough. It's about a small town witch who dies and her 13 cats begin terrorizing and killing people in the town. It's been optimal B movie fun so far!

Hey 😊
You can do both challenges at the same time: big books and finishing series, because often they are linked 😉
Jade city, the millennium, etc. are pretty chunky ones 😂

God I loved "The Perks of being a Wallflower" when I first read it at 14 and I reread it at 18 and still loved it

I still need to start all those series you mentioned continuing. 😅Also, the company that lets you buy a square foot of land in Scotland to become a lord/lady and plant trees is probably the most interesting and entertaining sponsor spot I've ever heard.

I’m so excited to read legends and lattes. It seems so cute!

I haven’t even done half of the 22 I picked to read in 2022. I went down all kind of book rabbit holes and got a job at a library… and now botm ships to Canada.

I'm reading Wheel of Time for the first time this year. I read the first two books pretty close together and then waited a few months and I'm reading book 3 now. I wish I'd watched a recap video or something before I started book 3. I think Daniel Greene's Wheel of Time recap videos are good, if you feel like you need to watch a summary of book 1.
Personally, I think I need to go grab a copy of Legends and Lattes, cause that does sound like a nice cozy book!

I bought Legends & Lattes before it got pulled as an indie because I was afraid they would change the cover. I'm so glad they didn't, though--that cover is perfect!!

I was talking about this book today - Banana: The Fate of the Fruit That Changed the World by Dan Koeppel. I saw him give a seminar at my college and read the book. It's fascinating. Another one which is actually mentioned in the second of the Millennium series is Fermat's Enigma by Simon Singh, also wonderful.

I just started reading Station Eternity by Mur Lafferty and I think I remember that you mentioned in some of your videos you had it on your TBR or library list - either way - I just want to let you know they mention Octavia Butler and how great she and Parable of the Sower is in like the first 10% of the book and I immediately thought of you and how you have to read it!!

Have you read Emily Henry’s ‘A Million Junes, ’ ‘When the Sky Fell On Splendor’ & ‘The Love that Split the World’? Are those worth the read?

"The Demon Haunted World" does get better the further you are into it. "The Skeptics Guide to the Universe" by Jay Novella was great, and it's the closest thing to a modern DHW that I've read.

I read Galatea years ago. I wonder if it's different now. It's hard to tell with ebooks, but I think the version I read was shorter.

Unfortunately I didn’t like people we meet on vacation all that much… curious to see how you feel about it! I did really enjoy book lovers, so I’ll be giving a chance to her other books too.
Perks of being a wallflower is definitely a moody book, personally I preferred the movie to the book, which is quite rare for me.
