FYI….. if you like to sew, the fabric softener sheets come in handy to use as lining for small pieces like collars, behind button holes, pockets, and things like that. I use them straight out of the box. It smells so good when someone opens there hand crafted gift plus it’s one less thing to have to buy. Times are tough. I’m giving out homemade Christmas gifts this year. I hope this helps someone . Love ya girl, keep em comin 👍👏

I literally just left my local Dollar General and most certainly hit the $1 section. My 12 yr old boy helped me. He understands what's going on and gets excited when we find good items.

I hope everyone is continuing to stock up at a steady pace. It looks like Longshore shipping is going on strike. This will affect the east coast badly.

I give my 3 married kids and their spouses a card with cash (or put $ toward furniture, car repairs, a new stove - whatever - before Christmas even comes if they need something - bought my daughter a new box spring this week as her early xmas present - it's what she wanted and needed) and a big green trash bag to each person as a goodie bag - over the past few years it's been boxes of coffee pods, handles of Titos' or Malibu or a 12-pack of beer or box of wine, books, snacks, gloves, filtration straws, zip ties, flashlights, solar lanterns, portable chargers, hand crank radios, fire smothering blankets, candy, hot sauce, soaps, spices, jerky and more...they never know what assorted stuff will be in their bags! Last year I announced that I also had a pile of "Inflation Mitigation" for each house - 8-roll pkg of paper towels, big pack of TP, a jug of laundry soap, bottle of Dawn and a box of Glad trash bags. I picked these up on the loss leader weeks throughout the year. It's a mix of preparedness, splurges and household items so I feel better about getting them a bit more prepared and they love it!

Spam 25% less sodium (only one I buy -reg too salty ) . Paid $ 1.99 several ago . Bought 3 cases They last way beyond the date on the can . Had a can 15 years old (lost in the back ) and it smelled and tasted good .

Wow, Sam's Club tp has 235 sheets per roll and costs about .50 each. This looks to have 240 sheets per roll and only costs .25 cents each, so that is much cheaper! Good catch, let us know how it works.

bro!!! In a pinch, it's a blessing to have all of that. We are still recovering from Hurricane Florance on the south east NC coast. Those scrubbies and cheap soaps SAVED so many of us from having bad hygiene. When its 100F outside, muggy, and you gotta go save the farm, being clean at the end of the day and washing laundry in a bucket was AMAZING!!!!

When I need a break, even for a half hour, I go to the DG in my little rural community and I shop. In the dollar section for sure, but when you been canning, gardening, and dehydrating for days, y'all need to take a break. I know I do.
