Static Electricity - The Electroscope Part 1 - AP Physics and Regents Physics

Показать описание
In this video I introduce the electroscope and discuss this very important fundamental tool for charge.
This video is part of a brand new physics course online covering the topic of Static Electricity (Electrostatics)
I am a high school teacher in New York State in which I teach Regents and AP Physics 1, 2 and C Mechanics. In addition I am the head coach for our Science Olympiad team and have the pleasure of teaching some introduction robotics classes. Over the years I have made videos for my students either as a flipped classroom or as supplemental material.
Many of these videos are here on YouTube. You can take complete courses for AP and High School Physics with my video lessons and supporting material.
For all of my complete courses please visit my website,
Currently I have complete courses covering the following units:
Kinematics (1 and 2D)
Dynamics (including circular motion and gravitation)
Energy (specifically mechanical)
Momentum
Static Electricity
Electromagnetism
Waves, Sound, and Optics
Modern Physics
There is also an accumulative Regents Physics Review course available in which I review all physics topics in NY State's Regents curriculum along with examples and a walk-through of multiple regents exams.
