This TOEFL Listening practice test by TST Prep was designed to copy the exact structure and level of difficulty of the real TOEFL.

Not only does this test contain listening passages and questions just like the TOEFL, but also a downloadable PDF, which includes a grading rubric and answer key so you can measure your score and understand the answer to every single question.

My name is Josh MacPherson, Head Instructor at TST Prep, where our mission is simple: to help students like you get the TOEFL score you need as quickly and easily as possible.

And right now, get a pencil and a piece of paper ready because you are about to take a complete TOEFL Listening test.

The TOEFL iBT is an academic English test that measures four skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. While ETS TOEFL offers a suite of TOEFL Test options like TOEFL Junior, TOEFL Essentials, and TOEFL Paper Edition, this video will primarily focus on the most popular version of the test, the TOEFL iBT.

Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your channel, which has been instrumental in aiding my English skills for the TOEFL test. However, I feel compelled to share my recent experience with the home edition. I took the test yesterday, and it was by far the most challenging experience I've encountered. I strongly advise my friends and fellow test-takers: if there's a test center available in your city, opt for that and avoid the home edition. My test stretched over 5 hours without any break, plagued by numerous technical glitches. Getting assistance from proctors or technicians took several minutes each time, and at one point, a transition from a proctor to a technician took an excruciating 30 minutes. The check-in process itself was troublesome; I waited for 30 minutes initially, and only after directly contacting support did my test start, delayed by a full hour. It was a disheartening and frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Finally, my time has come to write my score comment like anyone else. I received a *113/120* today after 4 days of learning. Your videos really helped me a lot during this short timeframe. I got R30, L28, S29 and W26. Obviously, I already had a good skill level but you really had some great tips regarding modifiers, repeating patterns occuring in the test itself etc. Without you I would definetely be below 100.
Thank you for providing all that on YouTube and the free PDF tests! In my opinion, you are the best TOEFL teacher on the platform.
The only suggestion for improvement I can think of is that I believe you should emphasize a little bit more that using templates is being punished when it is obvious. Your videos get watched by thousands of test takers so I expect that they recognize your templates by now. However, thank you for all the videos and keep up the good work!

Hey Josh. I don't really add comments on YouTube, but I think I have to tell you how amazing you are, for providing so many materials for us to practice.

Stands to say you were incredibly helpful. I had about a week of serious study for this exam, and I scored 104. I thought I messed up speaking, but it turned out to be okay (25).

Thanks again for your help. We all appreciate it. 💯💯

Thank you for your help, Josh! I took the exam after watching your videos, in particular the section guides and practice tests, and scored 113. I also want to take the opportunity to warn others who take the home-based iBT that technical issues can occur in which case ETS will not assume any responsibility and ask you to re-register (pay again). I recommend you test your device well in advance, and be aware you can't use standard paper to take notes during the home-edition test.

Thanks to your videos and a few other resources, only 7 hours of study one day before the test helped me bag 113/120. 29/30 on listening and this is the only listening practice test i gave before giving the test. Of course, I am a poet and have been studying english for a while but you helped me go from 95-100 to 113. Thanks!

Hi Josh
first of all thank you for the great content,
I got a bit confused with question 6 in passage 3, in the passage it was stated that a shooting star should be within a range of 200km form the observer to be seen BUT in Q6 answer D its within a range of 200km from the earth NOT (the observer) to be seen, So if there is a shooting star in a range of 200km in a remote area it will not be seen.("be seen" should be attached to the observer not the earth )

Thanks a lot! I've got a question about Section 1, Question 5. Why would Answer b be wrong? Martin and Sarah "Have an excellent grasp on the material". I thought that means, they understand the material well.. which would lead to them being a good tutor. Thanks in advance!

I think this section of practice is easier than real test in TOEFL, but I also grateful this is for free, thanks

passage 3 Q5, why is stony iron is the rarest? Can sb explain? I also checked the transcript which says 'Of these three types, the irons and stony-irons are the most obviously extraterrestrial because of their metallic
content. Pure iron almost never occurs naturally on Earth. Therefore, if you ever come across a chunk of metallic
iron, it is sure to be either man-made or a meteorite.' And my answer was iron.
