New Hampshire USA Cherries supporter here formerly from Bournemouth. Being currently 4 hours behind the UK one of the benefits of a win by any score is you have a good chunk of the day left to celebrate and I was buzzing, and three hours after the game I felt exhausted from the excitement. After having a restless night, in the early hours of Thursday I felt really unwell and went to the local hospitals ER where it was determined I was in a condition call AFib where the heart beats much faster than normal and in my case three times faster. So after six hours of tests, under general anesthesia, I had a procedure similar to defibrillation to reset my heart rate. Failure to do this can lead to a stroke or heart attack. Would I have been inclined to go to hospital if the focus on Tom' Lockyers condition wasn't front and center? Probably not. So I encourage everyone to be cognizant of their heart health at all times, good and bad. Hope the team can finish the season strrongly and not put us fans through so much stress, our ❤'s can't take it.
