Senate Unveils New Budget Resolution

On April 2, Senate Republicans unveiled their new budget resolution with hopes it would be adopted before the Easter recess. The Senate had already passed one budget resolution back on Feb. 21, but on Feb. 25, the US House voted to approve a very different budget framework. Both chambers need to adopt identical budget resolutions, so, the Senate went back to the drawing board to try and advance a budget plan that can get House support. We talk about what a new draft could mean for Medicaid.
