Edelkrone Flex Tilt Head - Alternative for Sony A6300 CHEAP

Off brand copy of the Edelkrone Flex Tilt Head for Cheap. If you have the budget i would suggest to buy the Edelkrone brand as they make some really great tools for video and photography. I just wanted something that could do this for my Sony A6300 sometimes so i picked this up for a little over $23 on ebay. Great for any mirrorless camera up to a medium to small dslr.

thank you for this video. I just bought a portable, lightweight slider just for shooting when travelling and I'm trying to figure out why would I need a Z head when I can just borrow the ball head of my Manfrotto Befree. This video just answered it, so I can have enough clearance & avoid seeing the rail on my shots! perfect. Thank you again for this video.

The knock off stuff is great for the starting filmmaker and those on a budget. However in my experience if you do pro work the real deal is always the best. I can't quite put my finger on it, but every time I have bought the knock off (especially of edelkrone) it works ok but never 100%. That's not to say that all the less-known Chinese brands aren't good. Smallrig, Fotodiox, and other popular off-brands that have a heavy following on Amazon are the best of both worlds. But in regards to this flex tilt it does seem that when it's a complete and total knock off by several companies who have zero intentions or brand cache it just seems to be missing something. Maybe it's love/passion. Lol. Thanks for taking the time to make these all the videos bro!

I already got the same from Amazon... built quality is very good, but beware that there is one very important difference (at least for some few people who are going to use it the way I did).

in the original version, it is possible to rotate the unit after tightening it on place, because there is a special pan ring, in the copy version, it is fixed...

So, what that means!!!. of upi are going to use it on a tripod, then, they are almost the same and there is not difference, but if you are going to use it on a slider, or any fixed object, then it will not work, because you will not be able to rotate the head and fix it on place.

I use this item with the canon 5d mark iii and 24-105mm lens wihout any problems, also with sigma 8mm circular fisheye, this thing can lift heavy cameras, the 5d+ 24-105mm is heavy and big but this item supports that

Just for info i have all edelkrone items and belive me first the build is nothing alike and the edelkrone version have 1 step extension more it goes up 2 times

I bought one from Buylor and it can't hold a 5D even without the lens. It's only 2 pounds. The worse thing I bought.

Good tutorial buddy. yep, it's not the real deal, but it holds my D750 on the tripod, works well and is good enough for what I want to use it for...

I tried the fotga version (cheap and chinese). it is a piece of crap. It does not hold a GH4 with a lumix 12mm pancake....
I tried to tighten very hard the arms with a facom allen wrench. Still cant hold the camera at all

Very disappointed with the product and the service. I returned the goods and never got any reply or my money back. As a new mom I was really trying to be patient with the "family business" concept, because I know how busy it can get, but now it just feels like scam and a waste of money and time.
