The Envoy has brought his temporal liberation front to the climactic battle of Procyon V, where the Temporal Wars reached their zenith. The Sphere Builders are returning and only the efforts of an allied time fleet and the Enterprise J can halt them, aided by temporal agent Pavel Chekhov and a blast from the past, Montgomery Scott.

Nice that the 100th episode has Chekhov in it. There is a nice circular nature that the 100th episode brings us back to some of the earliest ones.

It appears one aftereffect of the Battle of Procyon V is that it created a temporal shockwave that delayed Rick's subscriber count from reaching 100k. One last "gift" from Noye I supposed.

This temporal story arc seems to really benefit from more flavour to it if you began as a TOS captain, all the little references to the stuff you encountered yourself is really cool including Scotty appearing.
