LOL, imagine turning up for work at the Fender Custom Shop, going about your business and doing your work & being proud of what you do, then suddenly you walk down the corridor towards the reception area and walk past Jimmy Page!

He’s still traumatized over what happened to that poor guitar. Understandable. Thank you Fender for giving us this lovely interview, recording his take of a really important part of rock and roll history.

One of the best guitar stories, to Jimmy this wan't just an instrument. It was his friend.

First time he's ever been at a guitar factory? Can you imagine the thousands of guitars that were made because of his influence? That's pretty unbelievable really.

Jimmy is such a low-key personality, yet on stage his dynamics are the polar opposite - the quiet refined demeanor transforms(ed) into the dynamo that is Led Zeppelin. Like the way he transfixes on the poster - Jimmy's always been a music historian, and that little sequence shows it quite well.

Here is a company making guitars for one of the greatest guitarists of all time and another company is busy destroying guitars, sueing other companies and boasting about authenticity.

Anytime I see Jimmy Page on YouTube my day is over. I'm hooked. I can't help myself. My day becomes a Jimmy Page/LZ marathon day. God help me if I ever meet him in person.

Jimmy's perspective for those who came before him, as well as for Jeff Beck and the wonderful gift of the Telecaster is as profound as his music. After losing Jeff today we need to cherish those remaining music icons we still have and Jimmy is at the top of. my list. Thanks for this and RIP Jeff
