I loved the part in episode 7 where rey was losing in a saber duel with Kylo because kylo is obviously way more experienced and skilled, but then rey takes a deep breath and becomes more powerful than him

I watched this movie in the theatre, and i remember when this scene came. The whole back row started screaming "BOO!" "NOT A SKYWAlKER". I was proud that some fans still exist

Even jar jar binks is more of a skywalker than rey

and we would have a beautiful ending in which the main character realizes that it does not matter where she comes from and who her ancestors were because she is herself and not her ancestors but no because she has to find a family that will take her in, love her, accept her because she is still the same little girl she was at the beginning of the movie, when she waited for her parents.

I remember this momment very well in theaters. When she said that everyone shouted and literally walked up and left the room. Like half of the theater left before the credits rolled.
It's rare when a company spits on your face this hard.
