I have a habit of writing comments before I've watched the whole video, but this brings up a question in my mind. I go to a hermetic qabalistic school, and they teach us that Adam is symbolically seen as "general humanity" as well as the "self consciousness" and eve is the "subconsciousness". The teachings state that the snake is Kundalini (or what people can generally understand as the desire nature).

I see it kind of differently. Eve has two sons ( quality of bestow), one Thanksgiving to God and a second that was jealous of God, and the second killed the first one. Those desires kick out the first couple. The question is how to unite them to go back to paradise.
