NASA will unveil the name of the agency’s next Mars rover, currently known as Mars 2020, on Thursday, March 5, followed by this media teleconference at 3:30 p.m. ET about the mission and the naming.

The Mars 2020 rover was the subject of a nationwide naming contest in 2019 that drew more than 28,000 essays by K-12 students from every U.S. state and territory. Nearly 4,700 volunteer judges – educators, professionals, and space enthusiasts from around the country – helped narrow the pool down to 155 semifinalists. A second round of judging selected the nine finalist essays that were open to an online public poll before Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of NASA's Science Mission Directorate, made the final selection.

#askNASA - Wheels that have deflated tyres have been known to traverse rough terrain better than solid wheels-It's because it literally "ENVELOPS" right around the stone or obstacle, giving it "GRIP" and "TRACTION" over that obstacle-This means that "#POWER" is "#CONSERVED", rather than using "BRUTE FORCE" over the small or medium stone obstacles!!It will have to have the right volume of air to maximise stability and traction-not too much or too little air in tyre-
For instance-nasa command notices an obstacle that BLOCKS it's way to a "#VERY #PROMISING #SPOT"-NASA can then remote deflate or inflate tyres to best travel over that obstacle!!
"#STABILISERS" on each side could then compensate if the deflated tyre passes over too large an "#UNEVEN" surface-These "#FOUR" stabiliser arms could (2 on each side) "ALSO ROTATE" a full 360 degrees to turn the capsised rover back on to it's wheels again!!
THE SPOKES ON WHEEL can be TELESCOPIC so that the wheel can "#INCREASE IN #SIZE" to get over the obstacle!! The rim itself can be TELESCOPIC with the deflated tyre expanded in length by a "SEPARATE" INNER TUBE that expands the length of the tyre to cover the larger rim wheel-This can be done if the deflated tyre is "#UNIFORMLY""#WRINKLED" or "#SLIGHTLY #FOLDED AS A UNIFORMLY WRINKLED TYRE"
IN OTHER WORDS-once landed, nasa could remote order the "#PERMANENT" EXPANSION" of wheels to cover rougher than usual terrain-this will allow it "to boldy go where no rover has gone before"( to those interesting places that's promising!!

An excellent name! It might be hard for a follow-on return mission to find samples that had been just dropped somewhere and then buried in dust. In any case, surely NASA has thought about this, the best of success for Herrn Prof. Dr. Zurbuchen, his team, and especially for Alex.

For several months I tried to forward a message NASA  to provide some information. Unfortunately unsuccessfully, the subject of my message probably was taken as a joke. Therefore, please include in the NASA budget about $ 14 to buy an e-book Obcy w epoce kamienia (Aliens in the Stone Age). In this book there are photographs of an artifact containing information about Mars. Just someone from Mars could do such an artifact over - 30, 000 years . The information contained in the book Obcy w epoce kamienia (Aliens in the Stone Age) can be helpful in colonizing Mars.

Thumbs-Up!--Perseverance as the newest Mars 2020 Rover will join Curiosity as the Mars-Explored Rover as our NASA's partners on Mars.--Further they'll operate on their duties by performing their experiments while doing exploration in Martian environment. Regards, Christa D'Auria Ciao!!

#askNASA-
will solar corpuscular radiation hitting on earth's magnetic shield cause a "COMPRESSION" on "ATMOSPHERE" that might create "HIGH PRESSURE" atmosphere in that region?? If it's theoretically accepted, then would that creation of high pressure cause "LOW PRESSURE" in regions "NEARBY" the high pressure region??Perhaps much like a balloon, when you squeeze it, "HIGH PRESSURE" builds up on one end and "LOW PRESSURE" on the other end of the balloon !! Since the air is "FINITE" in that "EARTH LIKE" balloon means when high pressure builds up, low pressure is left on the other end of balloon.
