All these recommendations, just as they are true, will be so impossible to put into practice after a day on the slope, when you come back about 5pm to prepare something to eat and then you need to sum up the day with your friends over some French wine (typical of us skiing in the Alps). In the morning though, as a warm-up, this can be done, and I have a routine of mine of this kind. An injury saver, indeed.

that stretch at 9:50 is freakin Golden! ive had a lot of problem with my left leg being extremely stiffer than my right leg and this stretch is simply amazing! among others... also, to the person who commented on the supple leopard book.. not sure why your saying this and not sure what you were expecting.. but it is one of the most intense and complete book for rehab, tips and q's from head to toe (also the trigger point therapy book) ... Of course if your fine  with your training you dont need all those information if any..  but when you have issues/imbalances and fucked up posture, Dr KStarr is simply awsome to refer to! thx for the upload

Amazing decades of skiing I just realized none of my warm up/cool down movements were targeting the right muscles effectively. Last time out, after hours of bump skiing I badly injured the IT band at the knee. Hopefully Yr pointers will prevent future painful down time. Many thanks!

Thank you very much. I do some of that stuff from yoga because it helps with age, desk job and stress. I'd love it if the first 4 minutes included graphics showing the anatomy vocabulary being discussed.

Great video, full of great tips. I'm not even skiing but my hips felt tight watching it. Can't wait to get working on them.

Pretty involved but if an expert and obviously fit man needs to do all this prep/post i guess us lower lazy mortals should adopt these routines albeit in a condensed form.Well done explanation and vid

You should market a package including socks, jump rope, ball, roller, hip resistance bands, and laminated book/cards with illustrations and instructions. I would buy it. I really like these quick warm up and cool down tips. (If you do already have a package, or a place I can get them all separately, please provide a link. Thanks.)

I know you ride one of those long kook mobiles Mr. Starrett... you should do one on skateboarding mechanics as Ive seen a lot of guys with mechanics issues being a single side dominant activity.

Hey man I have been having elbow pain the day after high bar squatting heavier weights. I use a narrowish grip and try to keep my elbow pointing down to stay upright and tight, leading to great form and bar speed through the lift. The problem is that I get similar elbow pain to what you describe in a lot of your videos. What should I do on a daily/weekly basis to fix this problem? Should I just widen my grip but keep pointing my elbows down?

Thanks
