He’s a US policy advisor on human rights, anti-corruption, illicit finance, and energy security in Europe, so it may be fitting that these particular Russians consider him a Nazi, but in reality, he’s neither a Nazi or from Finland.

Finland has the highest amount of artillery in the EU and as we all know from the winter war, they thrive in those forests. I'm guessing the pauses in cadence with the VP's speech was so that all the translators could keep up. She was in Munich addressing many different countries that may not necessarily speak English fluently enough for heavy subjects like this.

I wonder if Ukraine's goal is to simply hold Bakhmut for as long as possible waiting for more western trained groups to become ready. If they can hold a bit longer and exhaust Russia, Ukraine would be able to probably do a pretty decisive counter attack with the new Bradleys, and maybe some early leopard groups.

The biggest takeaway from the wagner video i got is that they are not insulting or cursing out the regulars and the russian MOD, but call them their "friends". that is a MASSIVE change in rhetoric - a few weeks ago, they would curse and hurl insult at the MOD and the regular army for not supplying them, but now this?
something must have changed in the local power distribution that they are so docile towards their rivals.

I agree the VP used a lot of words for saying a single thing. But if there was ever a time to turn 15 seconds into 90, I feel like "announcement of war crimes" is a reasonable contender.

I don't think anyone is questioning if Russia committed war crimes. But the official proclamation by the US government is still a thing that is important to happen.

Just listening to these Russians makes me physically sick…pig Latin. Before this conflict I had this idea that Russia was a powerful nation…having followed this conflict, watching how their forces operate…wow! I was fooled into believing Russia was some super power…not. Their like 50 yrs behind us. Even on a squad level…it’s just crazy.

FYI-There is a big internal issue in Russia between the regular army and the Wagner Group. It seems the Wagner's have been publicly insulting the regular army and blaming the lack of success on the military leadership. Meanwhile, they have expended massive amounts of ammunition and men with no substantial results. The regular army is now starting to starve the Wagner group of logistical support. The appeal you showed is from their Telegram account. It appears it is an attempt to soothe hurt feelings in Russia. Meanwhile, the Russian military leadership is pretty much done with Wagner. They feel that Wagner Group has received much more support, are better equipped and are paid better than the Russian Army all at the expense of the regular Army. Rather dramatic, you know?
