Stony Brook University from the Air - Aerial Drone Film Reel

Stony Brook University is a world renown research university and my alma mater. Having studied my bachelors and masters in mechanical engineering here, I grew fond of the people and places that define this university. I have been filming and photographing campus events since my freshman year, but haven't had the chance to compile a video that just displayed the campus in its entirety. This aerial film reel captures all the places that defines the campus, from buildings that I spent countless hours in learning to those I spent fostering friendships. My hope is that this video will stir up fond memories of alumni and inspire freshmen who are just beginning their journey.

Locations: Wang Center, West Side Dining, Noble Residence Halls, Student Activities Center (SAC), Simons Center, Lavalle Stadium, Long Island Railroad Station (LIRR), Research Park

Good video but I wish you had lingered more. I graduated in '70 and things have changed so much that I found it very hard to get my bearings.

Han John, beautiful work! Just wondering, did you get University permission to fly over campus? I heard it was a no fly zone because of hospital helipad. Just wondering because I am exploring this area of photography. Thx
