When I was really young I saw a steam locomotive (that was before they started using the diesel/electric ones) and it was the most impressive thing I'd ever seen and so I wanted to be a train driver. After I left school I ended up working as an electronics technician at the university while studying physics like my dad. Eventually though, I became a jeweler, mostly doing all aspects of centrifugal lost wax casting in gold and silver. Funny how things don't end up like we plan them.

Yeah I went to uni for computer science myself, and actually did pretty much all of it (though I did have to audit a lot of courses due to lack of textbooks... a long rant about the uni kinda screwing with me about finances) but got into software/web stuff before finishing officially... now I'm back there for data science and killin' it... but only one class at a time since I'm more than full time already.

I feel like education needs to be reshaped a bit so people are there when and where they are ready for it, rather than having to go through these trials by fire.

Did this monk start as solo self found and switch to just a regular play through?

surprising youve never had frog legs.. nothing special really, but they are pretty common in chinese buffets.

You can learn to code in less than a weekend actually using programming languages like Python/JavaScript, but unless you're a genius you absolutely won't get anywhere close to being good at it in less than a few, if not several months of practicing every single day.
