I was surprised how nice the old main street is in Lacombe. One of the nicest small town main streets in Alberta .

I have lived in Lacombe for about 15 years. Before that, my husband and I were in Lethbridge. But I LOVE living in Lacombe. It's got the charm and feel of a small town, but lots of amenities, and it's so close to Red Deer, Edmonton and even Calgary. Yes, the taxes are high but they get put to really good use here - our town is clean, well kept, and pretty. Nice to see a fellow local YouTuber! Glad to have found your channel.

I recently moved here from Ontario. It's really great. You should've given some love to Willow Ridge! ;)

I knew about the property taxes because that is disclosed but what I didn't expect was the WATER BILL... My bill averaged ~$50/month in Ontario and here it's ~$200!

The rates are ridiculous for whatever reason. I looked at the rates in Sylvan, Red Deer etc and they're normal. I think it's because Lacombe pumps the water from Red Deer, possible and that's what drives the cost up.

Appreciate the videos!
