My papaw use to sing this to me. I only remember a few lines.That was over 40 yrs ago. Can't believe I'd never thought to finding it here..til now. "Get along home Cindy, Cindy"

I was born in 1958, and I remember hearing this song on the radio right after I popped out of my Mom's womb!

This guy had it all. Great voice, great back guitarists (James Burton). Shame he died too young.

my 90 year old grandpa is in the hospital, there was a nurse named cindy, she was not in the room but he started singing the first part of that song, I never heard it before, it came out in 1938 by bob wills

Nice with a Country Twist. It's a great song. This was a song we'd sing in Elementary School back in the 60's. I didn't know that Ricky sang it.
