Cap. Dan Gallery, who commanded the task force that captured the U-505, wrote a fascinating account of the ordeal. It is worth reading, and is minute-by-minute. Very worthwhile reading, and a true story of heroism by the boarding crew, who risked their lives to keep the sub from sinking.
