Los Angeles is in rapid decline due to street conditions and online sales, I’m walking Broadway Street from 3rd to 12th streets, in the historic core of downtown Los Angeles , what once was the city's main commercial street and is the location of the Broadway Theater and Commercial District, it used to have twelve movie palaces located along a six-block stretch of Broadway, and now it’s reduced to one.
Los Angeles, often referred to by its initials L.A., is the Second most populous city in the United States, behind only New York City it is also the commercial, center of Southern California, and I know that LA it’s not only one street but I have to start somewhere and to avoid making a three hour video. I will divide it into many videos for you to enjoy and experience Los Angeles like you have never seen it before.

We are basically looking at MILLIONS of dollars of lost tax revenue to the city. Whoever runs this city is not doing a very good job.

People never make the connection between their poor quality of life and the politicians they elect.

Its also to do with the insane rent prices. These owners want $15k a month for a dumpy tiny stall

I’m 77 yrs old and when I was young downtown was the place to go for shopping, lunch, movies, etc. It was beautiful! If my parents and aunts were still alive they would be stunned by what DTLA has become. 😢

At some point people need to start considering if all this is intentional.

Downtown LA was always gritty and dangerous, but I could cry at how it kept declining all my life.

So how does the city survive if nobody is doing business there? The same is happening in NYC.

PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD RENT FOR A SMALL BUSINESS ANYMORE!!! When rent is $5k to $10k per month and insurance/ etc !! How the hell can you keep the doors open? It's sad!!!

My takeaways:

1. Chamber of no commerce.

2. Party time is over.

3. Closed now!
